But with a Re-entry Permit and re-entering, the stay will be approved for the remaining visa period. There are 2 types of Re-entry Permits:
- Single Re-entry : allows exiting and re-entering Thailand once. It is for those who do not travel frequently or have short temporary stay approval. Fee is 1,000 baht per time.
- Multiple Re-entry : allows exiting and re-entering several times within the approved stay period. It is suitable for those who travel frequently or have long stay approval. Fee is 3,800 baht per time.

- Personal information page
- Passport expiration date page
- Personal information amendment page (if any)
- Latest Kingdom entry stamp page
- Visa extension stamp page (if any)
- Departure card (Form TM.6) and 1 copy
- Form TM.8
- One 4x6 cm (2 inches) photo : (not more than 6 months old)
- Original documents : from related agencies and 1 copy (in case there is condition prohibiting overseas travel)
- Application fee 1,000 baht : for Single, 3,800 baht for Multiple
